Here’s how we turn that buzz into bold, polished creative work. From there, it’s a whirlwind of strategy, creativity, and (fairly often) a little caffeine-fuelled problem-solving.

It All Starts with the Brief

Every grand adventure needs a compass, and for us, that’s the brief. It’s our guiding light, ensuring everyone’s headed in the same direction. Without it, we’d be lost in a sea of guesswork and missed expectations. This is the "tell us everything" moment where we gather all the juicy details. Think of it like assembling a flatpack wardrobe — you could skip the instructions, but it’ll probably end in tears.

The brief outlines what’s needed, from dimensions and file formats to the tone and messaging of the final product. It’s not just a "what" but a "why." If anything’s missing, we’ll be that annoying team asking questions. Trust us, it’s worth it.

Plotting the Route (AKA Planning & Strategy)

This is also where we take stock of any assets the client’s provided. Missing logos? Fonts? We’ll flag it now rather than scrabbling for it at the finish line. We’re not about that last-minute panic life.

Time to Get Stuck In (The Asset Creation Stage)

This is the fun bit. It’s where the blank page starts to look less like a void of doom and more like, well, art.

Templates are our best mates here. They streamline our workflow, ensuring every project stays consistent and on-brand. By using templates, we can avoid repetitive tasks, reduce errors, and free up time to focus on the more creative aspects of the project. This means faster turnarounds, more polish, and a process that’s as efficient as it is effective. They keep our work consistent and on-brand while saving us heaps of time. Piece of cake (albeit a very large, complex, multi-layered cake).

Show & Tell (The Client Review)

Here’s where we unveil the goods. It’s a bit like showing off your baking to Mary Berry. Will they love it? Will they ask for "just a few small changes" that somehow spiral into a full redesign? Either way, we’re ready.

Crossing the T’s and Dotting the I’s (Quality Assurance & Pre-Flight Checks)

If you’ve ever hit 'send' on an email only to spot an embarrassing mistake seconds later, you’ll appreciate this stage. Before we hit "send" on any final files, we run through a quality assurance checklist.

Is everything the right size? Are the colours perfect? Are the fonts embedded properly? You’d be amazed how many times "the smallest detail" can come back to haunt you. Our pre-flight check is as thorough as airport security (only without the confiscated liquids).

And... We’re Live (Final Delivery)

The final mile. The big finish. By now, all files are looking sharp, the folders are neatly organised (thanks, Hazel automations), and everything’s ready to be sent. We’ll upload it to Google Drive or deliver via email, whatever’s easiest for the client.

But wait — it’s not "job done, see you later." If there are any last-minute tweaks, we’re ready. Think of it like that post-haircut adjustment where you spot a stray hair. We’ll sort it, no drama.

Lessons Learned (The Reflection Stage)

You’d think that’s the end, but every project is a chance to learn. Did something take longer than it should? Was there a tool that could’ve saved time? We’re always refining our process, keeping it sharp for the next adventure.

Clients sometimes give feedback on the process too, and we’re all ears. If there’s a better way of doing things, we’ll find it.
